Michelena O’Rourke is a first-year graduate student working towards a SM in Technology and Policy Program (TPP) and a PhD in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS). She received a bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame with a concentration in Energy Studies. Before arriving to MIT, Michelena worked with Dr. Robert Stoner analyzing energy poverty in Central Asia, and she plans to integrate this topic within her master’s thesis. In her free time, she enjoys listening to live music and hanging out with friends.
